IMHO we're flogging dead horses in this case.

Building something on top of https://gitlab.com/geovisio/geovisio would
seem to have much more long term promise.

The problems are actually less technical, but more organisational,
financial and legal.

I was unaware of the geovisio project, and will try to have a look at it
today, between meetings; would it be possible to add the link to this
ticket, to potentially increase readership/ awareness?

WRT 'flogging a dead horse', I completely agree and was trying to be
diplomatic. I think if feelings are strong enough, this subject can move
forward, but if not, I can hold my hand up and say that I tried.

I'm not sure how many people subscribe to this group, but if you have any
thoughts on this matter, can you please express them.
