I have a feeling some junction names have changed, officially or
otherwise, over the years. This does not help!

M2 J1 has been known as "Park Pale" in the past but now seems to be
"Three Crutches" (a "Crutch" in this context I believe to be some sort
of heraldic symbol). "The Heavy Commercial Vehicles in Kent (No. 3)
(Amendment) Order 2021" defines Junction 1 as "Three Crutches
Interchange" (also Junction 7 as "Brenley Corner"). OGL v3.0 probably
applies to the Statutory Instrument.

BBC GLR traffic reports many years ago referred to M1 J9 as the
"Redbourn Interchange" but more recently I think I've heard it as "Luton
South", which just seems wrong. SABRE has it as "Friars Wash" which I've
never heard or seen, however the "The M1 London-Yorkshire Motorway
(Widening Junction 9 to 10 Northbound) Connecting Roads Scheme 1992"
does refer to "The junction ... at Friar's Wash".

If there is a compatible source it might be a good idea to add the
"official" (National Highways, and equivalent) names for junctions and
bridges. Or we could go with "map what is seen" and avoid most of the
problem.
