Dyke is the more common spelling in the UK. But there are a number of 
place names, including street names, which use Dike. So when mapping 
them, we do need to make sure we're using the correct spelling and not 
simply assume it's the most common.

But, of course, the choice of which spelling to use should be based on 
on-the-ground evidence (eg, a street name sign) and/or open data sources 
(eg, OS OpenMap Local, OS Open Names or older, public domain OS maps). 
We shouldn't be preferring one spelling over another just because of a 
particular cultural objection to a particular spelling.
