Sure, but I had not intended on bogging the Talk-Gb down with my problems
....

Briefly, running Windows 7 on a i5 machine 8Mb Ram 2Tb HDD.
P3 ran fine before HDD failure, replaced drive, and manually reloaded
things as time for a fresh install.
All Windows upgrades done. Only virus prog is Microsoft Security
Essentials, and Potlatch.exe has been set as an exception.
Java loaded & upgraded.
Adobe AIR installed from Harman (logo now shows on startup which it did
not do before !)
P3 installed from https://www.systemed.net/potlatch/download/
Opens, runs, but will not load data or any backgrounds. Starts in Zoom 2.
Zoom in and when it gets to about Z17, the error msg shows that it
cant connect to server.
When looking for my GPS tracks, get the msg *" There was a temporary issue
connecting to OpenStreetMap. Please try again later."*
---------
Tried running as administrator, no difference.
Tried running in W7 compatibility mode, no difference.
Checked Firewall and P3 shows as a block exception.
Map data server is : https://www.openstreetmap.org/api/0.6/
Tile server is : https://tile.openstreetmap.org/
No problems logging into my OSM a/c for other things.
----------
Pretty much all I can tell you... answers on a Postcard, please.
Rgds, Russ.
