I'd agree that that would make sense, but it's worth mentioning that 
there's a significant minority of the usage that is for the whole site 
(see https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1vx8 , example 
https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/35107347 ) rather than for each building.

I've also just now (only once thankfully) seen this approach to caravan 
sites: https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=19/54.45746/-0.55361 !
