Hi Kate

we've converted v2 of the master list to OSM format, see

http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/WikiProject_Haiti/Status/Hospitals#Second_import

We're now using our own scripts, you don't have to convert the master
list any more. Here's the result of a first run of the converter:
   http://www.guggis.ch/haiti/HaitiHealthFacilities_Master-v2.osm

!!! Warning: *DO NOT* upload this file. A simple upload would create
hundreds of duplicate objects.!!!
!!! We will provide scripts to merge v2 into alrady existing OSM data
from v1                                    !!!

We've changed the tagging scheme slightly, as you can see in the
generated file:
- health_facility_type becomes health_facility:type
- Categorie=DISP  maps to
health_facility:type=dispensary                                 (as is)
   Categorie=HOP maps to health_facility:type=hospital, amenity=hospital
   Categorie= C/S maps to health_facility:type=cs_health_center
                          (new, closer to the Humanitarian Data Model)
   Categorie= CSL  maps to health_facility:type=cs_health_center, bed=no
          (new, closer to the Humanitarian Data Model)
   Categorie= CAL maps to health_facility:type=cs_health_center, bed=yes
         (new, closer to the Humanitarian Data Model)
   Categorie= Unknown maps to health_facility:type=unspecified
               (new, closer to the Humanitarian Data Model)
   Categorie= Other       maps to health_facility:type=unspecified
                   (new, closer to the Humanitarian Data Model)
- Organisat maps into
operator=*
(new, closer to the Humanitarian Data Model)

Regards
Karl
