The relation that you mentioned has already been fixed by someone else!

If you understand rudimentary German, you can check relations with this 
tool:

basically, if everything is green/orange then it's ok.

You can also download the full relation in JOSM, "open Location" and then

in the case at hand, a few days ago this would have shown the relation 
to be lacking a few connecting bits of coastline in the south-west, but 
as I said is has been fixed.
