... this reminds member guggis (aka myself) to be more precise when
giving advice ;-) Don't worry, a sandbox is a sandbox. And it only
requires three mouse clicks to undo whatever one does on the wiki. Test
it out yourself:
* go to the sandbox http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Sandbox
* click on the tab "history"
* click on "undo" for one of your entries
* click on "Save"

Unfortunatelly, yes. But hopefully we're going to change that in the
future, see what Mikel wrote here:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Humanitarian_OSM_Team/Haiti_Strategy_And_Proposal#Social_Processes
Regarding rivers: if you're refering to
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/WikiProject_Haiti/Tasks_and_Ideas/RiverLabeling
then try again to edit the section "Who is involved?" and add your
signature (~~~~). Sending a mail to talk-ht is fine too.

Every node or way in OSM has a unique number. way 30048192, for
instance, is road in Port-Au-Prince. For every object there is a link
where you can browse the object, i.e.
http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/way/30048192. If someone is looking
for the link to an OSM object he is looking for this link.
Regards
Karl
