*KREYOL AYISYEN

*Chè tout,

Mwen tounen tounen yo sou aspè keksyon sou bay kabrit pou fè. Jaakko, mwen
dokimantasyon sou sijè a, men mwen wè sa ki ekziste kounye an fransè:

   - sou Wikipedya OSM, paj klasik
   http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/FR:Key:highway

   http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/FR:France_roads_tagging #
Exemple_1_de_ce_qu.27il_ne_faut_pas_faire gave some konnen abouti the common
   mistakes

   - yon gid imanitè teren nan tagging a Antoine Nan wouj anba fòm nan

United.

Sou pwoblèm nan lang yo, mwen dakò ke nou p'ap ka toujou tranduire nou-menm
nan tout twa lang ki ta dwe itilize yo nan Talk ht-yo, se-a-àdren, dasn yo
lòd sa a, kreyòl ayisyen, franse ak angle, men mwen panse ke nou pourrions

   http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/FR:Key:highway
   http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/FR:France_roads_tagging#Exemple_1_de_ce_qu.27il_ne_faut_pas_fairegave
some indications about the common mistakes

http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-ht)

Cordialement,

Séverin

*ENGLISH*

Dear all,

Coming back to the road classifications aspects. I know Jaakko you are very
involved in these considerations, and already did training sessions in Haiti
for the COSMHA members. I do not know if you already create some material,
but this is what currently exists in French :

   - from the OSM wiki, the classical
   http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/FR:Key:highway
   - same source, already quoted by Jean-Guilhem,
   http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/FR:France_roads_tagging#Exemple_1_de_ce_qu.27il_ne_faut_pas_fairegave
some indications about the common mistakes
   - a Humanitarian Guide for tagging made by Antoine Le Roux on a Google
Doc (see attached). I do not know if it has been published or not on a HOT
   or OSM WIKI page

As Nicolas and I are not currently in Haiti, could you please Jaako show and
explain these documents to the COSMHAs the next time you meet them ?

Great news regarding the weekly mapping parties in Grassroot United
headquarters.

Regarding the languages issue, I agree we cannot always translate ourselves
in the three ones that should be used in the talk-ht, I.e Haitian Creole,
French and English (in that order), but I think we could make the effort to
use Google translation after having written our message and paste the
results (that what I do for the Haitian Creole), so that the Haitians could
better follow the discussions on talk-HT (subscription here :
http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-ht).

Sincerely,

Severin
