Hello,
I actually always set a source tag when I added new objects. Mostly I used Bing. Just few times the other image layers were better from yahoo. When I edited existing objects I maybe did no always add a source tag, but I tried to source most of the time.

Oh one more thing. Can you tell us on which satellite images you edited?
There are now high resolution bing satellite images available in a lot of
parts in East Indonesia.
When I compare the data there is a offset of about 10-20 meters and I am not
sure if there is a offset necessary for editing based on bing sat.
Cheers Daniel

Hello,
I am the user dawnbreak and I have often tried to clean up some things and
fix mapping errors in Indonesia.
I had contacted the user anton_jakarta also back then. When I remember right
these strange tags and objects came from the program he used. I think he
used gpsmapedit and converted these results to OSM and I think that caused
not so good results.

Where you got this from? In the last months I had unfortunately not much
time to work on OSM. My edits must be at least 6-12 months ago that I have
done in Indonesia.
Hope I can work again bit more on OSM soon. Nice to see happening so much in
Indonesia.
Regards,
Klaus
