Great to see the N17 gain more length. In recent times, there's been
some very silent infill going on on the long-distance road network in
Ireland, to the extent where the National Primaries are now almost
complete. Recently we've had the N5 go from nowhere to full mapped,
half of the N26 (Foxford to Ballina) is now mapped, the N3 and N16 are
now complete, the gaps in the N4 have been plugged and last night I
was able (almost) to complete the N13 off somebody else's traces.
It's probably a good time to put out an appeal that we strive for
completion of the primaries, or even the donation of trails to allow
others to do so. As far as I can see, the key gaps are now:
N7 (possible cleanup required around new Limerick works?)
M9 (Carlow bypass not yet open, but will be soon)
N10 (Kilkenny Bypass section)
N12
N13 (Bridge End to border and A2-Derry City Centre)
N14
N15 (Donegal Bypass)
N17 (gap north of Tuam and Tuam-Claregalway)
N19 (detail around airport terminal)
N26 (Swinford-Foxford)
N29 (obscure one, this, just north of Waterford)
Various extra detail on stretches which are already mapped (junction
detail, missing carriageways, roundabout detail etc.)
Possibly some detail around Cork city.
Can anybody help with these?
Dermot
