[OSM-talk-ie] Talk-ie Digest, Vol 83, Issue 7

Thanks to Eric Theise (he in San Francisco!) I now have the enhanced
spreadsheet of 350 Public Libraries with Lat/Lons added.

Eric also produced a leaflet map see link below.

Please look at the libraries local to you and where possible add the
building if not already mapped.
Please email me the names of any points which you notice are incorrectly
placed.

Eric suggests the following are worth noting:
Timahoe did not work for him.
Askeaton appears in County Cork
Donabate Portrane no values
Clare Island no values

By the way he apologizes if some of the County Colours are wrong, he got
them from somewhere on the internet!

I noticed from his map:
DLR LexIcon is marginally out by perhaps 50 metres
Mullingar Library is missing
The library in Palmerstown is the wrong side of Mill Lane if it refers to
the one in Stewarts Hospital which I visited when mapping.
Donaghmede is misplaced. Perhaps it should be in the shopping centre.
Lucan should be at the South East corner of the Shopping Centre
Galway City Library may be slightly displaced, although I have visited it I
can not be sure.

Having visited the following I can confirm the spots are correctly
positioned:
Stillorgan, Deansgrange, Bray Ballwaltrim, Bray Town, Ballyroan, Tallaght,
Blackrock, Whitechurch, Ballsbridge, Dublin DCLA, Portlaoise, Limerick,
Cabinteely, Tullamore, Thurles and Wexford.

I greatly appreciate Eric's prompt help and hope it may be possible to
bring this further at the get-together on the 23rd, so your news of any
needed corrections in the meantime would be useful.

If anyone would like a copy of the data please email me and I will send a
copy.
