[OSM-talk-ie] Can Townlands be split for Civil parishes and barony boundries?

In the case of Westport they messed it up yet again in 1991

 

They changed the boundary of the Urban District Council area but not the EDs
in Westport.

Now the townland of Moyastin was split into two when the Urban ED was
created in 1898 or so. A smidge urban and most rural. 

 

That order changed the Council Boundary but not the ED boundary so I believe
there are still 2 x Moyastin Townlands today. The rest of the townland was
horsed into the UDC though.
