[OSM-talk-ie] name=Ireland | Re: name=Éire / Ireland

Is there a name for the whole island?  Hockey and rugby teams play under the name Ireland and represent the whole island.  Should there be a clear distinction between the 26 county sovereign and independent state, the 6 county part of the UK and the whole island on the west side of the Irish Sea?
