Hi,

aeroway=hangar and building=hangar (I'm not sure why both exist) are used to mark hangars at airfields, airports and similar installations. However, not every building at an airport is a hangar. Someone dropped me a message to say that someone was systematically marking many airport buildings, e.g. fire stations and warehouses, as hangers. Hsangars are exceptionally rare at non-aeroway locations.

SEPARATELY, I did a search for both tags, finding more than 300 hangars. I've reclassifiedabout 100 so far. This included many buildings that were actually houses, industrial buildings, farm buildings, schools, etc. I suspect most of the issues come from the autocomplete feature on forms, where people type in building=h expecting it to complete as building=house, but it actually completes as building=hangar. This then gets copied and pasted. It's just something to watch out for.

SEPARATELY AGAIN, building=farm represents the farm house, where people live. building=farm_auxiliary is for other farm buildings.
