If it'll be in Tel-Aviv-Jaffa area, you can count me on. Sunday or Saturday,
anytime - just pick the day and time. For other places, maybe.
By the way, there's a another successful mapping project in Israel. Free as
in
I'll-give-you-some-of-it-for-non-profit-purposes-for-free-in-a-binary-format-for-one-open-source-gps-navigator-program...
This is how I got involved in osm: The other project was not enough free and
not enough open for my taste.
Anyway, they have an active community with a lot of volunteers. Their forum
has 10201 registered users (http://www.freemap.co.il/forum/). This is a
Hebrew only forum unfortunately. That seems to be a great place for
generating interest.
