I'm using TangoGPS on the NEO FreeRunner and it works nicely for showing
the tiles from Tiles at Home or Mapnik. I use T at H since I can get updated
tiles very fast so if I happen to map day after day I can see new data
quickly.
I'm still missing an easy way to mark POI (Points Of Interest) such as
bus stations and the like. I've started to write such a program but my
time is so short for hobby programming that I'm not sure when it will be
done. One feature I really need is audio recording with gps tagging so
that I can record in real time the street names. Today I walked with a
map with the nonames layer but my handwriting is so awful that some of
the names I recorded are illegible.
