those notices are over 50 years old! Valid in the days before satellites. I am 
sure Pakistan has inch accurate satellite photos of every military base of 
ours, and we of theirs. There are a lot of archaic laws in the books - like 
it is still illegal to generate electricity without a license! Or to take a 
phone instrument into another room. Or, for that matter, use a modem without 
a license

well so far, I have been lucky - every security guy who has bumped into my bag 
full of gps units has let me by without question. But I suppose this will not 
last.
