I announced it on the list

I just followed the instructions to set up mapnik and mod_tile. The only
experience I had was that I needed to do it with the latest lenny and FC10 as
all earlier versions did not have uptodate libraries for it. It is still
running on my laptop, and if anyone has the bandwidth and hardware I will be
happy to guide them. I am bitterly disappointed that I could not do it. I have
another server which could handle it, but that is running etch and I just have
unable to find the time to upgrade to lenny.
