[Talk-in] Print quality map

In an effort to produce printout of good quality map with data we
collected during gillMapping, I was able produce .svg map using
osmarender, that looks good on screen. See gill.png from:

or try gill.svg in Inkscape

The pdf produced by printing from printing command of Inkscape, looks
very bad, with few symbol very very large.

Can you suggest me way to produce good quality pdf and to produce
printout of good quality on paper of big size (say A1).
