Uma, it would be great if you could do a comprehensive tracing of the town
and cover most of the roads. Im assuming doing that for a place like
Miryalaguda would just take an hour. If we can make a skeletal map of the
street network you can start using http://walking-papers.org/ to take prints
and quickly add points of interest. If you scan them, a bunch of us can help
you to add the data to OSM.

Also, if you are in touch with the municipal authorities, we can try
exploring the use of OSM maps in public places like bus station or the
railway station, and maybe even translate it into Telugu
