If you want to share any info, there is an existing page-
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Varanasi. You can edit the page and start
adding contents on what you plan to map and any other info. Otherwise you
can look at the beginner guide and start mapping.
You can post your questions to this mailing list.

Hey vijay,
I didn't found my street where i am living and  also there is no wiki
page of varanasi. So ,firstly i want to be in wiki page and
correspondingly i am collecting the data. If u would provide me some
legeality then it is my pleasure, to put the correct data at osm
map.In short i want to be in developer part of osm india. Also please
tell me the irc channel of osm india where i can clear my doubt
because i am new in osm.
