[Talk-in] Specific tags for India

Hello Indians,

I have been mapping around Erode noting down about 50+ POIs and street
names. I have come across exceptional situations where there are no
standard tags (as far my knowledge). I am giving the situtions of such
occurances and we might be able to put together a tagging scheme. If
there exists and standard tags kindly give the details where they can
be found.

1. Sweet shops -- there are established sweet shops which come with
even brand names, I have been using the tag shop:bakes till now.

2. Auto stand -- I saw the symbol to use in openstreetmap.in site but
couldn't know how to tag the point ....kindly clarify

3. Training Institiutes -- there are training institiutes in our
country for everything from IIT entrance exam training to Tailoring,
how do we tag those ?

4. Cell phone shops -- cell phone which has become a part and parcel
of Indian society has given rise to a number of branded retail chains
like Univercel, Hash Mobiles, The Mobile Shop....etc including those
Nokia Priority Dealer show rooms

5. Handy Craft shops -- the country known for its villages, handy
crafts play important part, so how do you tag those shops which sell
handycrafts

I think there are more of such things in our country of varied
culture, as of now I am preplexed about these 5 things.

How do we solve these tagging exceptions.
