Popularising OSM: We have to show case how OSM data (where ever needed, converted to GIS) can help Civil/Admin for a transparency.
Will map Ooty (a nice South Indian Hill station, Coimbatore the nearest Rail Head) along with Tracker GPS, Android Tablets, for -3- days after 10th May 2014. Any OSM enthusiasts are welcome to Join.

Great idea. But before that can we have some mapping parties to build up some momentum?
I see very very slow development for OSM in India. Perhaps we need to brainstorm for recruiting new members, raising awareness, reaching out to colleges and universities etc.
