Greetings from the Open Mapping Hub and thank you very much for the very
fruitful meet and greet last April 16, 2022! It was so fun to be with
everyone finally getting to know the people behind their OSM usernames.

Anyway here are some highlights that we were able to discuss:
1. We were able to discuss the OSM National Dialogues and hope we can get
people to be part of the discussions and dialogues of various important
topics. The OSM Dialogues would want to create a space for collaboration
and talking between local OSM contributors within a specific country and
hopefully provide a direction for community building.

Hopefully we could set up a date, agenda, and ways forward for this. I can
help with setting up, organizing and coordinating with everyone on this.
Thanks Satya for sharing the mailing list as I would also explore this
communication channel.

We can host it by May but hopefully we can get a start on thinking who else
we need to invite and make sure that we get a lot of people from the OSM
community in India to take part.

You can read more about the OSM National Dialogues we did for Bangladesh,
Nepal and the Philippines here:

2. Once we have this, we can open the discussion in the National Dialogues
about the Booster Grants. So the Booster Grants, like Dr. Nama said it is a
seed funding program to "boost" OSM community building. Hopefully, we can
also prepare for this as this would be very helpful to support small
communities and ideate projects/programs for interested OSM enthusiasts.

You can read more about the Booster Grants here:

Feel free to reach out to me if there are any inquiries and questions?
