This looks great!
If you don't get any replies, suggest you take it as consent and go ahead.
Folks have added lot more things with far less prep work that what you've
done.
If you have any technical queries on how to do, pls post the same.
(Speaking with no osm data importing experience myself, but i do understand
the general osm API stack, and can work to make custom scripts when needed)
