My idea was to have one gpx file for each user, that way the video
rendering would show each users gps tracks in one color.

Ævar, would it be possible to user your script to download all the
tracks from each separate user in a bounding box surrounding the
Höfuðborgarsvæði, so that the output might be something like
Tiny_Rvk.gpx, Ævar_Rvk.gpx, ... ?
