Ai tag in italiano non sono favorevole neppure io. Però è vero che nessuno
ci impedirebbe di usarli. Cito da [1]:

"Note though that any keys and values are valid and may be employed in
OpenStreetMap [...]"

e da [2]:

"OSM is a free project done by volunteers, anybody can enter anything he
likes. [...]. Nobody is forced to obey them neither will it ever be an aim
of OSM to enforce any of its mappers to anything. [...]. When you use tags
yourself that aren't on Map features, give other mappers a chance to
understand (and maybe adopt) them by writing one or two lines about them
somewhere in this wiki"

Con questo non voglio certo invitare a non usare le map features, dico solo
che in assenza di tag specifici approvati, usarne di non ufficialmente
approvati non è un crimine. L'unico rischio è quello che non vengano mai
adottati universalmente. E se per gli strumenti ufficiali/pubblici non
esistono, chi vuole fare uso pratico dei tag di usa invenzione deve anche
occuparsi di svilupparsi da solo gli strumenti che li impiegano.
