I forgot to answer to the OSM mailing list regarding this. Very busy times
recently.
I'm not sure Friday morning or Saturday is the better day for mapping. For
me both days are OK though.

I like the idea to combine routing workshop with mapping, because it shows
how important it is to care about network topology.

I'm planning to use FOSS4G Live DVD/USB for this, that has been made for the
Sydney FOSS4G conference. pgRouting is installed there, too, but with Sydney
OSM data.

I think time is a problem. It depends very much on how experienced workshop
participants are. If we have to struggle first with getting the software up
and running it will be tough. If almost everyone is an OSM mapper already it
might be easier.

How much time would be possible?
