I also have same question before I have a OSM session tomorrow.
Especially,

# Are there new resources for imagery? (And how to use them with
mapping software)
# Can Geoeye imagery be used for OSM
# Are there currently areas, that need special help? (Foreigners, who
were never in Japan probably don't know where to map best)
# Can we use air photo's Iwasakisan georeferenced?
# Can we get ortho mosaic images from Chiriin some point?
