富山県の立山と剱岳の雪渓が日本雪氷学会で氷河と認定された件ですね。論文の公判はまだのようです。

It is an affair in which the valley with year-long snow in Tateyama
and Mt. Tsurugi of Toyama Prefecture was recognized as the glacier in
Japanese Society of Snow and Ice. Publication of the paper is not yet.
