오픈스트리트맵 한국 커뮤니티 텔레그램 채널(https://t.me/osmKorea)에서 현재 오픈스트리트맵에 있는 우크라이나어 지명의
한국어 표기를 러시아식(ex. 키예프 - Kiev, 하리코프 - Kharkov)에서 우크라이나식(ex. 키이우 - Kyiv, 하르키우
- Kharkiv)으로 변경하자는 주장이 제기되었고, 다수의 동의를 얻어 현재 변경 작업이 진행 중입니다.

표기법 수정은 국립국어원의 <우크라이나어 지명 및 인명 표기 모음(2022. 03. 11.)>[1]을 기준으로 하고 있습니다.

Hi,
The OpenStreetMap Korea community telegram channel (https://t.me/osmKorea)
has decided to change Ukrainian OSM place names for Korean from Russian
notation (e.g. 키예프 - as same 'kiev', 하리코프 - as same 'kharkov') to Ukrainian
notation (e.g. 키이우 - as same 'kyiv', 하르키우 - as same 'kharkiv') and is
currently editing OSM as it with the consent of the members.

The revision of the notation is based on the National Institute of Korean
Language's <Ukrainian Geographical Names and Personal Information
Collection (2022.3. 11.)>[1].
