[talk-latam] Soufriere Eruption

Dear Latam Community,

The Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) has been following the eruption
of the Soufriere Volcano this morning. On behalf of the Disaster Services
Team, I am reaching out to inquire if there are any needs we can support
with.

For background, we have already reviewed the mapping of Saint Vincent
Island and see that the northern half, including the volcano, is fairly
well covered. Besides some updating and clean-up there are no obvious gaps
that we see. Please let us know if that is not the case?

We have also already increased our exports of OSM data to the Humanitarian
Data eXchange (HDX) to update daily. Those exports can be found here:
https://data.humdata.org/organization/hot?q=Saint%20Vincent&ext_page_size=25

Please share the links, or generally, OSM to anyone who may need it for
response and/or recovery purposes. Especially if you are part of a local
community, or individual mapper, in St. Vincent and The Grenadines we would
appreciate any input you have to how we can make OSM more impactful for the
response; reply to me and/or disasterservices at hotosm.org (cc'd) to start
that conversation.
