[OpenStreetMap talk-lu] Luxembourg address import

Hi everyone,

Luxembourg’s addresses are now open: https://data.public.lu/en/datasets/adresses-georeferencees-bd-adresses/ <https://data.public.lu/en/datasets/adresses-georeferencees-bd-adresses/>

I would like to import all these addresses into OSM. Because the source data is improved and augmented weekly, the importing process will need to maintain the imported data as well.

The official data isn’t perfect, so a careful comparison and merge of OSM and official data will have to be done.

I have already written a tool to expand all the abbreviations and correct all the speling mistakes in the official data.



Is everyone principally okay with the import? Would anyone like to work on the import together?
