Hello

  I've noticed that you've got an email from Martin Machyna about so
called "upgrading" of riverbanks. It is very unfortunate that people
who have never created a single map are proposing to destroy good GIS
data, presenting it as the only and "improving" way. But let's leave
that for the critical thinking of Latvian community.

  However I would like to give you a decription of a different opinion
based on GIS/Cartography:

made by people who actually make maps from OSM data
(https://topo.openmap.lt, https://shapes.openmap.lt/varene2021.pdf).

  Also note: in Lithuania we strive for the highest possible quality
of OSM GIS data, so DO NOT "accidentally" damage water objects in
Lithuania as some of "fixers" are currently doing ;-)
