I.v.m. de discussie over de FON als hardwareplatform voor ondermeer in 
de auto. Er wordt binnenkort de derde garage-bijeenkomst georganiseert 
rond de C,MM,N/"open source auto". Geinteresseerden zijn welkom!

   Sign up for the third c,mm,n garage

On Friday November 7th, c,mm,n will organise the third c,mm,n garage.
This open source mobility development event invites you to think, design
and build sustainable mobility concepts. Sign up will be possible soon!

     * Contribute to the first open source car
     * Discover business opportunities
     * Find a graduation project (or internship, job, school project)
     * Meet others from the c,mm,nity


   What exactly will we do?

A c,mm,n garage is an 'open space' gettogether where people divide up in
groups discussing, drawing and prototyping on subjects. There will be
interactive sessions to develop, discuss, draw and prototype ideas. You
can also find people with similar interest or find a graduation company.

During this day a mixture of presentations and open space discussions
will be organised. Results of the discussions are stored in the c,mm,n
wiki. The DRAFT program is as follows:

     *  From 9:00 Westhorst open, coffee/tea
     * 10:00 Introduction
     * 10:45 Brainstorm in parallel sessions (interior design and
       scenarios for future mobility)
     * 12:15 presentation on the UT driving simulator
     * 12:30 Lunch (during the lunch there is the possibility to use the
       UT driving simulator)
     * 13:15 start afternoon program (more information will follow soon)
     * 15:00 Concluding remarks
     * 15:30 drinks…

During the day people can discuss any subject around c,mm,n in the
different islands. These are created around the following subjects:

     * design
     * technology
     * mobility concepts
     * communities and open source product development. All the results
       of the other Garage events are submitted to the wiki and the
       results of the coming Garage will be available there as well. In
       this way we can elaborate on it afterwards.

VR lab at the Westhorst, Faculty of Engineering Technology (building 20:
de Horst), University of Twente

*Who?*

Everyone with a little tic for mobility: students, company
representatives, university employees, nerds, professionals, petrolheads
or other people with a tendency to go wild on cars, mobility or open
source.

*How Much?*

Entrance fee is €5 including lunch, coffee and tea thanks to our
sponsors. Students with an 'OV-weekkaart' can get their train tickets
reimbursed. Just show your card and ticked at the info desk.
