Hey Bipul, the best resource for getting started is:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Beginners'_guide

Have a read (be sure to follow the links as interested), go to
http://osm.org, and maybe try editing the map near an area you live. Once
you are at that level, let us know again, and we can come up with
interesting projects.

PS. do you have a GPS device or a GPS-enabled smarthpone? If so, then check
out the sections pertaining to GPS traces in particular, we really need
more of those in Nepal.
