That's a real interesting topic. If you talk about putting up accessible
information in Openstreetmap, I know that in Germany there is a lot of
information for people in wheelchairs for example.
You could check out http://wheelmap.org/en

Going through http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Accessibilit<http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Accessibility>,
there seem to be some projects done for Blind and walk impaired.

Is it what you are looking for or are you looking for something specific?
