Dear All,

I'm planning to use OSM for disaster management system for my final year
project. I'm trying to know about the areas where map can be used to assist
management who are involved in disaster management and mitigation. I've
about this topic with my seniors, teachers and other individual (involved
in disaster management and mitigation) form which I've made rough sketch
about it and also googled about it and found some application (eg Irish).
I'm concerned with the flood, landslide and hailstone. The main problem I'm
facing with this topic is the data that our government uses for the
management and mitigation of disaster and am not able to get clear picture
of applicable area.

I'm planning to provide analytic data and result on the basis of previous
information stored in the system through data mining or other techniques
(if any know suggest me).

If you have any information using map and application area then please help
me my suggesting and providing information. The Kathmandu Living Labs is
working on this area and I hope I'll get valuable information from
respective members.

Thank you for your cooperation and support.

Best Regards,
