[Talk-nz] Street address data update?

I would like to contribute time to this. However I haven't assisted with an
OSM import before.

To confirm, is this import completely separate to the LINZ-2-OSM project? (
http://linz2osm.openstreetmap.org.nz/)
Would it be worth trying to reignite the LINZ-2-OSM project (which looks
like it handles tasking and conflation) in order to import the update of
Addresses?

In regards to the broad two options for importing:

I would think that both would be useful. #1 as the primary source, but #2
would catch cases where OSM data has become dirtied since the first import.
