[Talk-pe] Proyecto de OSM en Chorrillos

Hola a todos,

 

Mi nombre es Andrew Sauls. He enviado mensajes
a este grupo de correo electrónico antes de que sobre un proyecto OSM
Participativa en Chorrillos. Me dirijo a todo el mundo una vez más para pedir
su ayuda en este proyecto. Me imagino que este proyecto sea muy similar al
proyecto que tuvo lugar en Carmen de la Legua Reynoso. Sin embargo, en este
proyecto, una ONG local también se beneficiará directamente de los resultados,
y nos permitirá espacio para trabajar. He hablado con 4 -5 estudiantes de la
Universidad Pontificia Católica que deseen asistir para aprender más sobre OSM,
y están dispuestos a ayudar también con la recolección y edición de los datos.

Necesito su ayuda para dos razones: 1) Soy de
los Estados Unidos y ahora vivo en Lima. Actualmente estoy tomando clases en
español, pero aún no lo hablo con fluidez. Por lo tanto, necesito a alguien
para ayudar a comunicarse con los residentes y el equipo. 2) Del mismo modo,
como yo soy de los Estados Unidos, creo que tener una persona peruana como el
líder sería mejor en general. Los residentes pueden relacionarse mejor con una
persona local en lugar de un extranjero.

Por último, será necesario este proyecto a suceder
ya el 16-17 de abril o el 23 a 24.
Puedo confirmar las fechas una vez que tengo la confirmación de alguien de este
grupo que me pueda ayudar.

Hello All,
My name is Andrew Sauls.
I have sent messages to this email group before about a Participatory OSM
project in Chorrillos. I am writing to everybody once more to ask for your
assistance in this project. I envision this project to be very similar to the
project that took place in Carmen de la Legua Reynoso. However, in this
project, a local NGO will also be directly benefiting from the results, and
will allow us space to work. I have spoken to 4 -5 students from Pontifical
Catholic University who would like to attend to learn more about OSM, and they
are willing to help as well with collecting and editing the data.

I need your assistance
for two reasons: 1) I am originally from the United States and now living in
Lima. I am currently taking lessons in Spanish, but I am not yet fluent.
Therefore, I need someone to help communicate with the residents and the
team.  2) Similarly, as I am from the
United States, I think having a Peruvian person as the leader would be better
overall. The residents might better relate to a local person rather than a
foreigner.

Finally, this project will
need to happen either on April 16-17 or
April 23-24. I can confirm the dates once I have confirmation from someone
from this group who can help me.
