Hi,

The organizers of green map philippines is asking for our help.
http://www.philippinegreenmap.org/

Basically, they want a slippymap for their website showing "green"
sites. They currently have 600+ establishments/POIs marked as green.
Creating a mash-up of POIS overlayed with OSM data as basemap is
fairly easy. The problem: the green sites needs to be geocoded. I
can't find any geocoding API that can effectively do this especially
for the Philippines.

The best approach would be to manually locate them in OSM and provide
the geographic coordinates. We need volunteers to help us geolocate
the POIs. Anybody interested? I can send the xls file off-list.

If you have any other ideas on how to geocode please let us know.
