Hi Carlos,

To add to what Maning said, there is already some address data in OSM and
it's already searchable in other tools.

The OSM-PH Garmin map is compiled using the mkgmap software and the
developers are still trying to make it fully work. You can read an overview
of some of the issues here:

In the meantime, we should continue adding address data into the OSM
database because it's immediate useful for other people who don't use the
Garmin map. :-)
