I also asked them about the use of OSM data a few days ago.  I
specifically inquired how they integrate map changes submitted by the
users since they encourage this:

They responded that they ask the users to edit the data on their own.

As for the attribution, is it a violation of the OSM license (my
initial is yes)?  If it is, we should at least request them to add an
OSM attribution in their website or in the car navi device itself.
