Dear everyone,

During the Open Data Day event, Eugene facilitated the last
discussion.  I wasn't able to track the discussion completely so
please correct me here.
The points discussed were mainly focused on how we can help users and
beginners in OSM get started immediately.  Some suggestions are:

 - Encourage subscription to the mailinglist and help.osm.org.
 - Conduct more mapping and skill sharing events where new mappers can
comfortably ask more senior mappers.

I would like to discuss further the last suggestion.  Any ideas on how
we do this?  Maybe we schedule more regular meetups designed for n00bs
and groups interested in using OSM?

Any ideas?
