Dear everyone,
We just got back from a series of meetings with our partner LGUs in
Pampanga for the OSM training activities. The following dates are the
schedules:
* Candaba, Pampanga - October 7-9, 2013
* Lubao, Pampanga - October 23-25, 2013
* Guagua, Pampanga - November 05-07, 2013
We are also planning a separate activity for local colleges and
universities
to teach them how to contribute to OSM. Will inform you once we have a
schedule.
We also invited several Pampanga OSMers to join the event (some of you
probably received my invitation through the OSM messaging system). Aside
from Pampanga OSMers, we are inviting everyone here to join us in the
series of training events.
Currently there two modes of participation in the training:
- you can join as an "experienced" participant. You can at anytime, join
within the schedule to help, we will cover your food, lodging and
transportation expenses, or;
- you can be part of the training team! We can discuss what topics you can
facilitate, however, we will require you to join us for the 3 full days.
Food, lodging and transportation will be covered including a minimal
honorarium for your services. Details on the OSM trainor is here [0].
Let us know what dates you can join us so we can arrange the needed
logistics and if you are also interested to be part of the training team.
We also prepared a project brochure if you want to know more about the
project [1].
