Hi Maning
One of the things the report addresses is the Field Data Collection. There
are obvious benefits of having people in the filed being able to log data
when working in a disaster area.
I am looking at an App (free, of course) for just this purpose, with an
offline osm map, routeable, and updated daily.
What are yours, and others thoughts on whether this would actually be used
and of value
Who would use it?
I am also setting up an SMS server where reports can be text in. My thought
is to have the app do this with a structured message so lat/lon can be
trapped effectively and a coded form of report that is interpreted server
side.
This is a work in progress now.
I would welcome any input and thoughts as to whether something like this
would actually be used
Cheers Mark
Regards
