FYI, there is a slot in the program for a presentation on OSM. Anybody
willing to take this on?

Dear Humanitarian Partners,

In October 2014, Plan International and OCHA organized a forum on the
innovative technologies used in the Philippines to collect data during
needs assessments. The forum focused on the technologies used for primary
data collection (mobile data collection, UAVs, etc.). OCHA proposes to
complement this initiative with the organization of a forum on secondary
data collection, mainly crowdsourcing data, using social media such as
Twitter and Facebook.

With this, we kindly invite you to a forum on "Improved analytics of social
media during emergencies". In this forum, existing initiatives that focuses
on crowdsource information will be presented and shared.

The forum will be on *10 December 2014* from 8:30am-4:00pm to be held at *Room
528-529, Yuchengco Institute for Advanced Studies, Yuchengco Tower 2, RCBC
Plaza, Ayala Avenue, Makati City*

A rough draft of the programme/agenda is attached.

For any clarification, please dont hesitate to contact Joseph Addawe (
addawe at un.org)

Thank you and best regards,
