Hello OSM Philippines!

*We have a few scholarship opportunities available, with applications due
on August 8th - please see the details below.

I'm thrilled to be co-hosting the 7th International Conference of Crisis
Mappers <http://www.attendiccm.com/> in Manila from September 28 - 30 with
field visits from October 1-5.

*To make the conference more accessible, tickets for Philippines' based
attendees are P2,500 including 3 days of conference + 2 field visits! *

Organized by the International Network of Crisis Mappers
<http://crisismappers.net/>, The International Conference of Crisis Mappers
(ICCM) <http://crisismappers.net/> is the leading humanitarian technology
event of the year, bringing together the most important humanitarian, human
rights, development and media organizations with the world's best
technology companies, software developers and academics. Everyone from
every sector is welcome to attend the conference.

2016 marks the first year ICCM is being held in the Southeast Asian region,
so please help us showcase the Philippines and make the conference a
success! This year's theme, in partnership with Map the Philippines
<http://celinaagaton.com/map-the-philippines/> is Building Resilience:
Inclusive Innovations in Crisis Mapping, is focused on the United Nations
Sustainable Development Goals <https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/sdgs> and
will highlight how local citizens, business, NGOs, schools, government and
technical communities can work better together with more accessible tools
to strengthen the resilience of our communities.
