[Talk-transit] totally abandoned rails

Something like http://forum.openstreetmap.org rather than http://wiki.openstreetmap.org or http://help.openstreetmap.org (that last one doesn’t seem to be working at present, but is still linked from the FAQ page on the wiki)?

Just a technical note, we'd need a server with some proper Forum-like software, so that posts like the one below could be pinned.
